Tryon Creek (overlaps into Clackamas County)

Approximate length of streams: 20.5 miles.

The Tryon Creek Watershed comprises about 6.5 square miles in SW Portland and Lake Oswego.  Tryon Creek supports wild cutthroat trout and steelhead.  In 1996, citizens concerned about the health of the watershed, formed the Tryon Creek Watershed Council.  Please join us to achieve our vision of a healthy watershed, where people work together to ensure an abundance and diversity of native fish and wildlife, as well as a high quality of life for present and future watershed citizens.

West Multnomah SWCD has recently completed compiling a Tryon Creek Watershed Baseline Assessment.  This assessment includes a compilation and review of available data, as well as original research.
